Top 10 Sandals For Stepping Up Your Game This Spring

A few weeks ago, I posted a photo on Instagram detailing my fresh pedicure along with a fun pair of glittery flat sandals I got from Target last summer. After getting several ‘likes’ and friendly comments, one compliment from my old college pal Nicole stood out — as she said, ‘you should do a top 10 spring sandals post.’

Well my beloved readers, she asked and now you shall all receive — below are my picks for must-have sandals for the warmer months ahead. It includes anything from wedges that won’t break the bank to coveteable pumps that will have you strutting like a star. As for me, the Saint Laurent Tribute sandals are always on my wish list, so I had to include them on this roundup.

Check out some styles that are fun, flirty, comfy and practical — of course, who doesn’t want a flower print wedge?!?

Sandals-Collage1. Andre Assous ‘Deedee’ Espadrille Wedge Sandals ($254): Perfect for the day-to-day errands and work. They are casual, yet classy and work well dressed up or down.

2. Dolce & Gabbana ‘Bianca’ Wedge Sandals ($795): OK, so this is a bit of a splurge, but a gal can dream, right? Live ‘La Dolce Vita’ in these wedges as it will have you screaming mamma mia for every step you take. Check out more budget friendly versions here.

3. Coach ‘Jesse’ Leather  Stripe Flat Sandals ($228): Simple, neutral and minimalist. The must-have shoe for those lazy beach days or while on vacation. Just remember to

4. Steve Madden Greenie Sandals ($60): When in doubt, go Greek! Gladiators are chic and fun and work well with shorts, pants, skirts and maxi dresses. Plus these studs will bring a fun edge to any ensemble.

5. Kenzo Color-Block Neoprene and Leather Sandals ($250): Neoprene is the new black and so happy to see Kenzo’s interpretation of this uber versatile fabric. Perfect for the beach, lounging around and even for doing some city slicking! And the color combination is simply striking. Check out other alternatives here.

6. TOPSHOP Two Part Cleated Sandals ($65): TOPSHOP does it again! This British trend staple is known to combine the latest styles with attainable prices that you won’t resist. Also be on the lookout, as the brand is expanding in the U.S. and  many Nordstrom stores feature their collections.

7. ASOS Helsinki Heeled Sandals ($85): This is the perfect date night sandal? It’s sexy, sultry and adds a bit of glam. What’s even better? It’s less than $100 — so score.

8. Express Ankle Strap Wide Heeled Runway Sandals ($80): I am so happy to see Express has more footwear in their collection this season. This style is fantastic, as it works well with neutrals and has that thicker heel that’s been making quite the comeback the past few seasons.

9. Gap Gold Leather Sandals ($45): This is pretty much a must for everyone. It has that timeless feel with a bit of metallic, which goes with every style. I have a similar pair and wear them (when weather permits) rather often.

10. Saint Laurent ‘Tribute’ T-Strap Sandals ($875): This is my ultimate lust have! It’s so sexy and chic that will sure be a head turner no matter what a step  on. Considering the steep price tag, here are some alternatives that are just as glam without the hefty tag.
