Judging by the last two fashion week seasons, it’s safe to say that this spring, it’s all about fringe. This boho-inspired trend is playful, easy to wear and transitions well from day to night. Though in all honesty I don’t own a lot of fringetastic pieces — I think I only have one pair of beat up booties, to be exact — I am smitten with this style.
As I put the Ryzenberg On Investigative Unit to work (OK, me!) to gather fantastic images, I came across plenty of inspiring styles but these five for some reason stood out from the pack. All of these gals make it look fresh and effortless — two key characteristics for stand alone style.
So enjoy my top picks and can’t wait to see how this killer trend evolves in the upcoming warm months.

Rock On Helena Bordon: This Brazilian beauty always nails it when it comes to trends. Helena is beautiful and can pull off prints, colors and in this case fringe in a fun and very approachable way. PS: She is my current WCW.
Color Me Fringe: Talk about making an entrance! I mean, fun footwear, noteworthy gams and a lively sweater. This a whole lot of my favorite rolled into an incredible sartorialism.
Gams and Fringe: This look is all about bringing the 1970s back with a maxy dress, booties and fringe. Plus, the print is perfect for those transitional months.
Fringe a la Ferragni: The Blond Salad’s Chiara Ferragni knows a thing or two about mastering trends and this simply skirt paired with a red clutch and minimal accessories take the cake. Bellisima!
Strutting in Neutrals Like a Natural: Like Chiara, Olivia Palermo is a street style staple and when I recently saw this look during the last fashion month, I couldn’t help it but be mesmerized. From the fringed skirt to the blouse, bag and sandals — this whole look blends beautifully and it’s simply timeless. It also works quite nicely done in all white or gray.
