That’s What LuckyFABB Friends Are For

One of the greatest joys of blogging has to be the friendships I’ve made through the years. When I first went to events solo in San Francisco, it was rather intimidating (even for me) to walk into a room full of strangers and mingle. But soon enough, I was a regular and relationships began to flow naturally.

These days when I go to LuckyFABB, it’s like a mini reunion of some sort — consider it like a summer camp, a place where fashionistas come together to catch up, chat with brands, and form new partnerships. It was great to see face-to-face all of these girls whom you come to cyber know on a digital basis, so much that Instagram and tweets are like the ice breaker.

When it comes to blogger pals, I’m so fortunate because I know some of these gals are meant to be in my life for many years to come. I know we’ll cherish some incredible memories, celebrate milestones and perhaps collaborate on some ambitious project.

I am indeed ‘lucky’ to have such amazing women in my life an if you haven’t done so yet, you MUST check out their blogs!

Ryzenberg On, is Signing Off

LuckyFABB-Friends-1

California (and one Arizona) Babes: We all met during last year’s Lucky FABB in Los Angeles and it was a treat to see them all again. From Left to right: Alex from Stylelista Confessions, Chelsea from She Said He Said, Amy from Amy’s Vintage Closet and Amber from the blog From Carpools to Cocktails.

Partners in Crime for Life: Tera and I met during LuckyFABB in New York and since then, we’ve managed to maintain a strong bond. This girl is truly beautiful inside and out and love it when we get to spend some time together, like going antique shopping in Orange County last fall. Her tresses are a work of art and her blog, Tera Rae Stephens, is a fantastic find.

Third Time’s The Charm: Kelsi and I have have attended every Lucky FABB in Los Angeles and it’s delightful to see her business flourish. She is super witty, ambitious and knows how to get it done! Can’t wait to see what other amazing ventures come her way. By the way, it took three conferences to FINALLY strike a pose together!

A Few of My Faves: Michelle from Graceful Glamour Girl, Tera and PR maven Maile sure know how to work a room and make a long-lasting impression. It thrills me that despite all of us living in different cities, we are incredible at keeping in touch, manage to know about each other’s lives and I know these gals have my back.

Cheers to Meeting in Person: I’ve been a devoted reader of Hallie’s blog, corals + cognacs, for quite some time, and meeting her in person was one of my trip to LA’s highlight. We got to spend a bit of time together and have a feeling Lucky FABB was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
