Sunday Styles in Los Angeles

Sometimes, it’s nice to take a hiatus and this year, I opted to take it easy with my December content. Though this is probably not the best decision from a marketing perspective, I am a sole believer that if the posts don’t flow organically there is no point in even wasting time strategizing.

We are officially back in Los Angeles after an few incredible weeks in Peru with friends, family, and a non-stop itinerary of activities. Believe me, I have plenty of stories and many guides to share, and they will be making its way to the blog slowly, but rest assured it will be worth the wait. There will be shops, sights, restaurants, and an array of random facts of the country where I grew up and spent my childhood years.

This past Sunday was particularly gray in Los Angeles, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I spent it doing a whole lot of nothing in the afternoon, as I relaxed and got my little apartment ready for the week. Gloomy skies always remind me of Lima (rather apropos, considering I was just there) since the city is aptly known as ‘Lima la Gris,’ which quite literally means ‘Lima the Gray.’

Perhaps those resemblances are what makes me love Los Angeles even more, because what I discovered during this trip is that no matter where I live, Lima will always be home to me.
