If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have a thing (or two) for flowers. I am actually sad the tulips and peonies season in the Bay Area are long gone, but I scored some gorgeous summer favorites this week.
Check out these sunflowers I randomly spotted walking by a health market! I actually did a double take and came back to the shop. When I got home, I wasn’t sure wether to use one or two vases, but then realized that the bunch simply looked sensational.
They are indeed the show-stoppers on my coffee book table, sure adding the perfect seasonal splash and ‘wow factor.’
Well, the yellow fever pretty much spread around the house, as I created marigold ‘pom poms’ and incorporated them to my kitchen’s decor. I always have extra coke bottles that know come in handy, and in early spring I used Gerbera Daisies for this DIY masterpieces. Let’s also be frank here, it is most like craftiest I get, considering I deem glue guns weapons and I am not the most domesticated when it comes to cooking.
Alas, everytime I post pictures of this, I get a lot of complements for originality.
