Did you really think 2014 was going to end and I wasn’t going to be sporting stripes? Well, you betcha I had the best for last. This is hands down one of the funnest sartorialisms I put together this year. I first saw the skirt at Varga boutique in Santa Monica while I dripped from sweat following an arduous workout. A few days later, I stopped by again because the store is simply a gem in the midst of a bustling Main Street — I chatted with the manager and needless to say we instantly became friends and a local gem on this locale is in the works for 2015.
As for the other pieces, they are all recycled from my closet and it shows how some pieces are simply classic and versatile. These nude pumps are always on heavy rotation and my metallic clutch is indeed a festive piece. What I love about this look is how perfect it is for a New Year’s Eve affair and also in the warmer months. I am not going to lie, it’s been rather chilly in Southern California these past few days so a pair of tights and a long coat are a must.
What do you, my beloved friends, plan on wearing this evening? I mean, by know you should all have something in mind….
Happy new years and cheers to an amazing 2015 filled with good times, good health and of course, good style.
