Saying Thanks In Plaid & Elastic Pants

When my family moved to America from Peru in the early 1990s, Thanksgiving quickly became my favorite holiday. Families gather to spend the day together, share traditions, eat lots of good food and say thanks to all of those things they are fortunate for. In my case, there are many, many reasons to be thankful, and I’d like to start with all of you.

When I started this labor of love, I had no idea it’d lead to such incredible opportunity, amazing friendships and a way to open up about life, fashion, style and my musings. I owe you all a big GRACIAS for always supporting my passion and reading my antics. I know sometimes they seem silly, but that’s my life, as I don’t take it too seriously and always make time to smile and laugh at myself.

Now that we have the thanks out of the way, I’d like to emphasize how important it is to wear comfy clothes today. I know I will be gorging on pumpkin pie, so I have my elastic pants all ready to go. This sartorialism is all about comfort and style all crammed into one look. Let’s just say this whole situation is already on heavy repeat, since I’ve worn these pieces several times in less than one month.

What are some of your favorite traditions and styles?

Gobble Gobble and please, do enjoy in some of that delicious meal! I wait all year for this.
