Sartorialisms from the Ground Up during Paris Fashion Week

I know a few months have gone by since we traveled to the four fashion meccas of the world for fashion week recaps, but it certainly dawned on me that we never made it to Paris!

But as you know, everyone loves Paris in the springtime, so our sartorial adventures continue — even if it’s a tad too late. I recently glanced at hundreds of pictures from the City of Light’s amazing styles and I must say, it starts at the bottom with a firm foundation, so I chose to feature shoes.

Yup, amazing footwear was de rigueur and everything from pumps, embellished sandals, kicks and mules was on display to ooozee and ooogle on. As you all know, I have a thing (or two or 12) for footwear, so it should come of no surprise that I am devoting an entire post to such an iconic piece.

The only thing I wonder is, how do these ladies master their struts on their stilettos and cobblestones? If anyone is willing to offer a class on this, sign me up. Otherwise, Paris will always be known as a magical city, but be warned because comfy footwear must be needed. But rest be assured, because there were plenty of stylish flats, Birkenstocks and even Tevas sported on some of the world’s glitterati.

As for the collections, well it’s all been around for a bit, but in my opinion, they were all exquisitely and the Kaiser is even making me consider becoming more domesticated, after his Chanel supermarket extravaganza.

Ryzenberg On, is Signing Off
