Happy International Women’s Day! I took a bit of a hiatus because I went to DC for a political conference, but I am back and chock full of shenanigans.
I am going to start off by sharing some of the women that inspire me to keep going everyday. They are truly a force to be reckoned with, and each left a special mark for others to follow suit.
Jane Birkin: Effortless style — Check! Style icon — Indeed — Hermes Bag Muse — Yup, that’s her. This Brit who called Paris home for her adult life, has inspired countless editorials, looks, collections (Rachel Zoe’s S/S 2013) and fashion spreads.
Need we say more, anything this gal did was pretty much banging!
Diana Vreeland: She felt fashion, which is vital when it comes to running a magazine and calling the shots. Diana was an eccentric character who embraced dancing, had no trouble standing out or even speaking her mind. She was the perfect lady in every way.
Hillary Clinton: It sure took a village, but this former First Lady turned presidential candidate and then secretary of state shows us all that the sky is the limit. She always goes against the current, speaks her mind and really is every woman.
I’ve always called myself a fashionista, but more importantly, I am a Hillarista! I know there are a lot of people hoping Bill Clinton becomes First Husband in 2016.
