Ryzenberg On: Teeny Weeny String Bikini

Drumroll please….The latest bodacious babe to grace the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover is: Kate Upton.

The blond bombshell makes a splash in Australia wearing a red and brown string bikini by Suit Yourself Bikinis by Kathleen Bruening.

The Michigan native, who was raised in the Sunshine State, beat out a bevy of gals like Bar Rafaeli, Crystal Renn and other South American and Eastern European imports for this important milestone. The cover was leaked early, as it was supposed to be revealed on ‘Late Night with David Letterman,’ but aside from the glitch, this 19-year-old is living the dream.

“I have had a great year,” she said. “For me, this is groundbreaking.”

It is the second appearance in the magazine for this All-American knockout. She was picked as ‘Rockie of the Year’ last year. Being used to flip flops, shorts and sandy beaches, Upton felt in her own element while modeling barely there pieces and visiting beaches around the world. 

Other models who made this cover, better known as the ‘Super Bowl’ for models, include Christie Brinkley, Kathy Ireland, Tyra Banks, Petra Nemkova and Brooklyn Decker.
