Michael Phelps is not only shining on the pool, but he is also making quite a splash for the latest Louis Vuitton campaign shot by photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Now that the most decorated Olympian announced his retirement, perhaps this golden child will take on a new career in the fashion world (just like his friend and fellow competitor Ryan Lochte hopes to do).

He joins the likes of Madonna, Angelina Jolie and Mikhail Gorbachev (I know, I know — Perestroika at its finest) with this iconic luggage, leather goods and ready to wear brand.
