Ryzenberg On: Neiman Marcus Stephen Webster Murder Mystery Party

Thursday night was filled with drama and intrigue. The scene: Neiman Marcus. The crime: A man killed from a Louboutin heel stabbed to his chest.

If you think this reads more like a police report than my usual fashion tales, you are right. That’s because I attended the Stephen Webster Murder She Wrote jewelry collection launch and the theme was a murder mystery we had to solve.

After working in local news for many years, I don’t think there has been a murder as glamorous as this one. I mean, most involve guns, knives or drive-bys, but a Christian Louboutin heel is not usually the weapon of choice. The suspects were all gorgeous gals that most likely committed the crime due to jealousy. They all (of course) sported exquisite baubles from Webster and were decked in fabulous frocks.

Now on to the good stuff — the jewels. They were absolutely incredible and feature everything I adore — color, skulls and intricate details. His edgy, yet chic style, is an absolute must for any fashionista, because his pieces are sure to be conversation starters! (Warning: You need beaucoup bucks to don some of these creations.)

Personally, I loved the heart ring (especially because I am a hopeless romantic and had my heart broken more than once…YIKES) but what better way to say, I am ready for the next one than with a big ring? Sure to catch his attention! Other eye popping pieces included a poison apple ring, several incredible pendants, bracelets and earrings. If you have a chance to visit Neiman Marcus, take a peek at his stuff.

For now, I just leave you with highlights from the soiree. Oh yeah, and the killer was found on the premises, but her hands were not on the cookie jar.
