Ryzenberg On: Neiman Marcus Beauty Call

Last week I, along with a group of San Francisco’s most stylish bloggers, attended a Beauty Event Spring Preview at Neiman Marcus and let’s just say, it was magnifique. We noshed on hors d’oeuvres, drank bubbly and talked all things beauty!

Representatives from Tom Ford Beauty, Creed, Fresh, La Mer and other amazing brands explained the latest and upcoming spring trends, colors and best ways to shine morning-to-night. 

These people know their stuff! I mean, seriously. The rep from Creed, Trisha, told us the brand commissioned a special fragrance for Edward V (I am sure Wallace Simpson approved of the scents) and even Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly had special potions. 

But Creed wasn’t the only perfume on display. Each guest had a chance to smell Tom Ford’s new fragrance, Neroli Portofino, and as a gift we all got a free scent (along with other goodies pictured above) yup, it was my lucky day.

Let’s just say Mr. Ford (or how I refer to him Midas, because everything he touches turns into gold) hit jackpot with this little jewel. Its inspiration draws from the Italian Riviera and when sprayed, it really feels like you are on the beaches of Camogli living La Dolce Vita. It’s wonderful and the ads are even steamier.

I left this soiree very knowledgeable, happy and impatient to check out all the fabulous finds. Thanks Maggie and the entire Neimans team for a wonderful night.
