Ryzenberg On: Nailin’ It

Love, Pasha, Trinity and Calibre are exquisite collections from Cartier — and now one piece made popular in the 1970s is pinning itself back to stardom: Juste un Clou.

This line, designed by Aldo Cipullo in 1970 arrives in stores on April 13 and will showcase bracelets and rings in 18-karat classic yellow, white and rose gold. If diamonds are your best friends, you can customize your bauble with some bling and even get an oversize cuff for a mere $35,000!

And if the re-launch wasn’t enough to celebrate, the legendary jewelry house has curated a commemorative exhibit in NYC called, “Cartier & Aldo Cipullo, New York City in the 70s.’ The display will showcase the history of Cartier and a glimpse of Cipullo’s life. This Italian maestro of sparkles was the mastermind behind the original nail band and the iconic Love Bracelet.

Although these pieces come with a hefty price tag — simple rings start at $2,000, it’s rather obvious that Cartier is hitting the nail in the head this spring by bringing timeless treasures back.

The collection will be on display in NYC until May 8.

And one day, I will be nailing this piece of iconography to my ever growing stacks collection! I know I will have many milestones to celebrate in the coming years, and the big C from moi to moi will always be a welcomed cadeau.
