Winter had a bit of a hiatus in SF, but the chills (and rain) are back and in full force! What’s the key to chic winter style in the city by the bay? Layering.
Known for its micro climates, some neighborhoods are cool and foggy (I am talking to you, Sunset District), while others tend to be a bit milder (Mission, Noe), so because of this fickleness, it is vital to be prepared, no matter what corner you are destined to wander on.

Always have a scarf, boots and tights — These pieces are a must for any season in San Francisco. Always try to add a subtle pop of color and in this case, I made the oversized cardigan stand out.
Sunnies are basic — I mean, it is California after all!
These boots are Made for walking — Riding boots are practical and stylish, especially in a city known for its hills and steep streets. I like to layer them with knee high socks so my gams are elongated and warm.
