Ryzenberg On: From Home Decor to Ensemble
As you very well know by now, color is an important element of my personal style. It signifies life, happiness and serves as a true form of expression. Its combinations are art and to me, bolder is indeed better.
These two looks emulate how easy is to incorporate color to a space or an outfit. On the left, the room’s furniture and color give the space an eclectic vibe. I love the fuchsia desk paired with the cobalt wall. The wall accents (an actually Miro painting, perhaps) and lamps also bring an exotic element to the room and the whole thing is finished with a pair of red bamboo chairs. For some, this may be a bit too much, but I feel the white side tables balance the room perfectly.
Wonder what the rest of the home looks like.
As for the right look, this is something easy and chic to do. Not a fan of skirts? No worries. Cropped pants also work. The key to this is to keep the jewelry to a minimum (perhaps gold studs or pearls) and hair down. The colors itself are the highlight, so you don’t want to look like an ornament. This look also works well with flats and it’s a perfect transitional get-up for early spring and fall.
If you tend to stick with traditional colors but feel the need for a ‘pick me up,’ just add a splashy bag or some bangles and it will transform your look from monochromatic to rainbow.
Easy and fun and sure to bring some cheer!
