Winter is officially here. And for those that live in San Francisco, it means this is the time to layer up. One way to do it and still be in style is to wear a button down shirt and a sweater. It’s an easy look with a preppy feel, yet you can always give a twist to this classic look.

Some ways to stand out from the pack and make your wardrobe more exciting is to add a pop of color. This could be a nice silk shirt underneath a cashmere v-neck, or even a scarf.

As for accessories, add some jewelry. Layer up with fun necklaces, earrings or even bracelets. This a great way to take the look from daytime shopping, to evening dinner, cocktails and holiday happy hours.

There is no reason keeping warm needs to be boring! It’s all about jazzing it up and finding your special style.
