Recycling Sartorialisms & Creating New Looks

Hands down, this is one of my favorite sartorialisms to date. I am not sure it is because I am wearing a few oldies but goodies pieces, or that it was pretty much a perfect San Francisco afternoon (that is, with lots of wind, of course) at Alamo Square Park, which is next to my beloved pad.

The greatest part about this look is its timelessness, considering I bought most of these pieces more than five years ago. I rarely get rid of any of my dresses (let alone shoes) so when I paired these beauties up for the twentieth time, it made me think of all of the adventures we’ve taken together. Australia, New Orleans, Florida and Southern California are just a few places this frock and sandals have been with. As for photos, I guess these ones will have to do!

It’s rather apropos that I post this the day after ‘Earth Day,’ as it is all about recycling and reinventing a treasure that may be very well be hidden amongst your closet staples. So get digging, what are you waiting for?
