Peek Inside Poketo’s LA Treasures

Poketo is one of those places where you can seriously find something for everyone, as it’s brilliantly curated with apparel, accessories, home decor, and children’s styles.

Founded by husband-and-wife team Angie Ayung and Ted Vadakan more than a decade old, it’s safe to say that they are on the forefront of the creative community, as they showcase some of the most original and cutting-edge products from around the world. They often host events at their beautifully merchandised LA Arts District flagship.

I first discovered this gem when they opened a pop-up shop at Nordstrom in San Francisco back in 2014, and was immediately drawn to their incredible items like Japanese porcelain, Australian timepieces, and Scandinavian flatware.

It’s a bit dangerous that I work within walking distance of their Koreatown location inside the Line Hotel, because I am often perusing their picks and getting in a bit of trouble. Their online shop is incredible, so if you are not near LA, you can still access all of their fantastic finds.

Get your DIY on with Janelle Pietrzak as they are offering a loom weaving workshop this Saturday at the Line Hotel. Can’t make it? Don’t worry, as they have plenty of other incredibly cool classes planned for April and May — cake decorating, paper flower making, and screen printing are all on the roster.
