Out With The Old & In With The New — Make 2015 The Best Year

When I found this on Instagram this morning, I thought ‘wow, this is a thoughtful quote and inspiring message’ and immediately reposted it. I got a few likes, some comments and attention and I did’t make much of it.

As the day went by, I received some unpleasant news (which, in fact was a bit of a downer considering it’s 1/1/15) but I continued with my day the best way I could. Fortunately, it wasn’t a loss or anything of that magnitude, but it had enough impact to affect me throughout the day.

When I collected my thoughts, I remembered posting this and decided to apply it to my life — immediately. See, bad news are inevitable, but it’s handling the situation that separates the strong from the rest. It’s always looking with a positive outlook, surrounding yourself with good, healthy people that will permit you to go on with life in a smoother ways.

Circumstances always arise and it’s learning how to navigate the storm is the key to success. Right now, I am still adjusting to my new life in Los Angeles and face a plethora of challenges every day. It’s difficult, but I keep on trucking’ because I know that at the end of the storm there will be a more defined path and more importantly — a rainbow.

Start this year fresh and make every moment count! Bring it on, 2015!
