Fun Fact: I am a creature of habits — I often order the same thing when eating out, I opt to wear the same things in my closet over and over, but one of my to-dos these days is to start gravitating outside of my comfort zone. Does this make me a complacent person? Not at all, I would say, I am just LAZY.
See, all this happens to me because I don’t take the time to figure things out and plan ahead. I simply go with my gut, do, and then second guess. Kids, don’t try this at home, as then you get stuck in a rut that’s often becomes hard to break.
This Month, I ventured out of my comfort zone and decided to do a massive closet cleansing. Though it’s not the same as a juice cleanse, this one this allow me to part ways with things I no longer want or wear. As I decided what to keep and toss, I also found some treasures I had actually forgotten about, like this top from T-Bags that bought 10 years ago on Shopbop. Cut-off denim is always a must-have for the warmer months, and I must say, that this pair have been through tick and thin (I am being quite literal about it).
This Nora Lozza clutch and Old Navy Sandals are a few additions to my all-star roster for spring. They were unexpected finds, and boy have they resulted to be quite a hit. I recently took them on a trip to Florida, and they will continue making their rounds all summer.
I am so glad I stumbled upon this incredible handbag brand while strolling around Abbot Kinney a few weeks ago, as they are handmade in Colombia and pretty well-priced. They also have a pretty nice selection of jewelry and other accessories that will liven up any look! Every time I wear my beloved cobalt clutch, I get a complement, so they must be doing a lot of things right.
That’s all for now, but I am sure there will be more fashionable finds as the weather heats up! What are some of your faves this season?
