NYC Gets Lucky As FABB Rolls Into Town

As you know, the last few weeks have been a non-stop whirlwind filled with lots of travel, good networking, great friends and even some family time. My first stop was New York, where I attended Lucky FABB (my first one in the Big Apple) and it was an inspiration to be surrounded by impeccable style, digital influencers and of course, my gal Eva Chen, who rocked at her first conference.

Some of the highlights of the two-day affair included listening to some insightful panels and getting my mojo going for collaborations, affiliate programs and new ways to spice up the dog-and-pony show. It was also quite a bonus to meet some of the PR and marketing reps for some fantastic brands such as Yosi Samra, Poppin, L’Occitane, Paige Denim and others. Be on the lookout for some fun giveaways soon.

Another highlight was the great energy exuded by fellow bloggers or all ages and sizes. One of my favorite part of these get-togethers is meeting some of the gals I’ve had a chance to follow for a while via social media, like Monica from Blueprint for StyleNicolette Mason and SoCal blogger Tera Stephens, who became one of my main parters-in-crimes during the event!

As always, running into old pals from around the country is a bit of a treat, as I got to catch up with Seattle-based blogger Alyson from Crushing on Clothes and my gal Margie from Margie Plus (whom, by the way, is indeed a treat). Of course, the Bay Area had quite the contingency with Caity from Moi Contre La Vie, Racked SF’s Esther, my gal Nicole from Manners and MoxieThe Local Transplant’s Amiee and iFabbo co-founder Sinead Norenius.

There is more to come from this event, including more sartorialisms, brand spotlights, new friends and even a surprise friend from childhood.

Yes, yes and yes! PS: People were inquiring about the bauble, and I was like — ‘It’s vintage from Sweet & Spark!’ #sharethespark
