New Year’s Eve Inspirations from a Few of my Blogger Pals

So I am in the midst of planning New Year’s Eve sartorialisms and to be honest, I’ve hit a wall. I am heading down to Los Angeles to visit some friends, but have no idea what’s coming with me, which is rather unusual, considering I often start planning looks (and tweaking over and over) quite some time before I go.

When situations like this happen, I go to my sartorially gifted fellow bloggers for inspiration. I am fortunate to know all of these girls, and each has a unique style that embodies their personalities. Check out the looks I’ll most likely be emulating to ring in the new year!

Bring it, 2014

J-adore-Couture

Kim from j’adore couture: This San Francisco gal knows that I have an obsession with her style. We often take photos of each other and she has a way of mastering prints and textures like a pro. It’s seriously effortless and chic all rolled into one. Photo from j’adore couture.

B-Soup

Bethany from B SOUP: Her louder than life personality and style are contagious. This North Carolina based Southern Belle is a risk-taker indeed who is not afraid to use colors and too many accessories (a gal after my own heart). She also has some killer footwear and these pants are perfect for this affair to remember. Photo from B SOUP.

Manners-and-Moxie

Nicole from Manners and Moxie: Nic is not afraid to mix trends and I love how she is a true style chameleon. One day she’s all ladylike while the next she masters menswear. This look is awesome because it still bares a bit of skin, yet it’s still very feminine and simple. The perfect look for a fun dinner and midnight drinks. Photo from Manners and Moxie.

Amys-Vintage-Closet

Amy from Amy’s Vintage Closet: My gal is all about fun prints, booties and style. Wanna learn how to go vintage? This Arizona gal is your go-to blogger. I am not sure whether I’ll be welcoming 2014 in four-inch heels, so I spent quite some time getting inspired with her ensembles. Photo from Amy’s Vintage Closet.

The-Dressy-Chick

The Dressy Chick: Not only does this Southern California gal have killer style, her beauty tutorials are a must for new tricks and ideas to get your beauty on. Thanks to her YouTube channel, I can now successfully tie a top knot! This look is fun and has a bit of a mod feel along with denim, which you all know I can’t live without. B-Jones-Style

Beth from B.Jones Style:  This Orange County blogger knows how to make an entrance and light up a room, as her style often steals the show. This look is pretty perfect for New Year’s Eve, as it is comfortable, sparkly and perfect for pretty much any fete. Photo from B.JonesStyle.

So, here are some of my favorite bloggistas who dare to take risks and know a bit about fashion. As for me, I still have no idea what to pack, but at least I know I have fantastic sources of inspiration.
