Nanette Lepore Swim Sure to Make a Splash During WWDMAGIC

Despite the brutal conditions outside, or at least in most parts of the U.S., all I can think of right now is a warm tropical getaway to a beach where pretty much everything needed are a teeny bikini, flip flops and SPF!

So when thinking about the perfect bathing suit to make a splash with, I looked no further than Nanette Lepore Swim. Known for her colorful ensembles and killer prints, this American designer sure knows how to bring the best of a woman, whether is a dress, a pleated skirt or even a two-piece bathing suit — she gets it.

These photos are from Miami Swim Week and after living in the 305 for a few years, I can attest this collection surely embodies what the carefree, vibrant and chic community is all about — bold colors, soft styles and pieces that work with the lifestyle of fun in the sun for almost 365 days a year.

You all know warm weather and oceans are a way of life for me, so needless to say, getting to know this brand at WWDMAGIC next month in Las Vegas would be a terrific opportunity. When I saw they were part of the designer lineup, my first thought was, OK — now where do I sign up as I can’t wait to feel first-hand all of the pieces, chat about South Florida and trends when it comes to warmer pastures.

Below are some of my favorite looks from their latest show last summer.

As for moi, here is how I would rock this bikini and of course in this case, less is absolutely more. Some of of my musts for a tranquil tropical escapade include cutoff shorts, a soft tank, flip flops, sexy sunnies, mermaid hair, a hat and SPF (my BFF).

If I make it to the mega trade show in Las Vegas, I can’t wait to share all of the fantastic brands, sartorialisms and people that make this an incredible opportunity for any blogger or anyone as passionate about emerging and established labels from around the world.
