Ryzenberg On: Pringle of Scotland — London Fashion Week
So I am currently in love with Pringle of Scotland. This 200-year-old UK-based company makes the most amazing and timeless knitwear, not to mention that now they have Alstair Carr (formerly from Balenciaga) as Creative Director.
Carr created his first collection for LFW and I loved most of the pieces and looks. I feel they are so wearable, versatile and classic, and I could see myself sporting most of the sweaters (plus, the color combinations are delightful)
Love the asymmetry, color blocking and beading used in his pieces — it makes them stand out and chic, not to mention that these are pieces that look great as a whole outfit straight from the runway, or are easy to incorporate into one’s wardrobe (jeans work well and sweaters can be for work or play)
This isan effortless collection that will wear very well for years to come! And it’s perfect for San Francisco weather.
Who knew something so amazing could come from Scotland? Apparently, Oscar winner Tilda Swinton did, since she is the brand’s ambassador. At least they all putting all the wool from the sheep I saw on the countryside to amazing use!
