Tucked between the bustling Mission and Valencia Streets lives a petite store filled with wonder, great designers and killer fashions. Of course I am referring to Mira Mira, one of my favorite boutiques in San Francisco.
I have actually been a fan of this place quite a long time, but was waiting for the right time to feature them on the dog and pony show. Now that everyone has spring shopping on their minds, be sure to check out some of the wonderful independent designers this local gem carries. Some of my favorites include Gat Rimon, Otis & Maclain and jeweler Sheila B. As for the prices, there is a bit for every budget and their sales section is pretty ample and updated often.
Did I mention that owner Mira Eva is a girl’s girl herself? She and her wonderful staff often plan ladies’ nights filled with treats, great deals and even better company. I’ve attended a few, and each time it feels more like a slumber party than a store event — of course, with fabulous fashions and none of those plaid PJs. Enjoy some cocktails, dish it out with the girls and you are guaranteed to have a fantastic time.
