Max Mara’s Fall Collection is Ladylike, Classic & Oh So Chic

A few weekends ago, I attended a Max Mara brunch and fashion show at San Francisco’s MKT Restaurant inside the Four Seasons. Though it was warm and very sunny outside (hello Indian Summer), the feel inside was all about luxurious fabrics, soft leathers and exquisite tayloring.

It was nice to pretend to be a lady who brunches; I mean, I usually don’t use brunch as verb, but this event was all about brunching indeed — unlimited mimosas, a three-course scrumptious meal and the latest fashions. I mean, what else can a gal ask for?

Max Mara is known for its classic designs and durable knitwear. In the past few years, they’ve revamped the brand to make it more youth appealing and I they are doing a terrific job. I left coveting more than just a few pieces (the cashmere coats were truly flirting with me) and their bags are perfect for everyday or a night on the town.

Talk about decadence and I mean, I could get used to this. Shortly after the brunch ended, a few of us went window shopping and made the most of it in Downtown San Francisco. Sadly, soon after the extravagant rendez-vous, it was back to reality and I  quickly turned into a pumpkin.
