The plans are made, the jewels are bought and flowers are starting to bloom. Yup, another Valentine’s Day is here and this time, instead of giving ideas on sartorialisms (just be yourself and he’ll have your heart), I decided to do something a little bit different and found four of my favorite fashionista duos.
Some of these could pretty much run a country and may even have royal proportions, but it’s all about finding that one person whom you have chemistry with, can endlessly laugh for hours and even share a cry with. Though dating is exhausting, emotionally draining and somewhat cumbersome — it’s all about the ride and finding out what’s best for you.
Every day should be filled with spontaneity, passion and lots of butterflies, and I normally stay in on Valentine’s Day and enjoy the moment, whether single or attached. I used to be a lot into the whole ‘pomp and circumstance’ of the holiday a few years back, but even I have to admit, I have grown up.
Solo or attached? Remember to be fabulous and make this most of this heartfelt day.
Posh & Becks: She is a popstar turned bonafide fashion designer and he is a soccer superstar who just happens to look fantastic in his skivvies. Together, along with their four offsprings, they are ready to conquer the world — one collection at a time!
Tom and Giselle: OK, so it’s not the first time a super model and super athlete pair up, but this duo simply sizzles. The South American beauty has two little ones with this all-American hunk, who knows how to make an impression on and off the field. As for this garota, she often steals the catwalks, has a cheeky sense of humor and knows a thing or two about rocking magazine covers.
Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton: No list that involves a fashionable pair ever misses this royal twosome. He is the handsome son of Prince Charles and Diana and she simply knows how to rock and recycle. What I love more about Kate’s sartorialisms is how she mixes high and low pieces, isn’t afraid to wear something twice or thrice and hey, once she sports it, it pretty much sells out, so that pretty much summarizes her influences.
François Pinault and Salma Hayek: He is the head honcho behind PPR, which owns a variety of high-fashion brands like Gucci, Stella McCartney, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent. She is a super start, producer, mommy and fellow feisty Latina. Toghether, they are super caliente and you know, she’ll always make a statement on the red carpet — because after all Monsier Pinault is THE BOSS.
