Loud Prints and Bold Colors for a Sonoma Afternoon

In honor of my Florida vacation, I wore this Sunshine State inspired sartorialism during a visit to Sonoma with Adelle from The Fashionista Lab and her childhood friend Esther. You know I am all about escaping San Francisco here and there, especially when it means warmer pastures.

I bought this skirt at H&M during their collaboration with Versace two years ago. Though I didn’t wait hours outside like I did for Lanvin, it was still an adventure. I knew the print was a bit ‘risque,’ in true YOLO way, I went for it. I paired it with a simple black tee and a big Spike the Punch necklace.

As for the footwear, I opted for classic clogs from Marc Jacobs. It was my first big purchase seven years ago and I still cherish them dearly. The Clare Vivier clutch finished the look, along with Michael Stars Sunnies & voila — a spur of the moment look with some pizzazz.

This is a fun look for a weekend outside the city, and you the trick to strong prints is to keep it half of it simple, so you don’t end up looking too gaudy or overdone!
