No visit to Palm Springs is complete without a stroll on Palm Canyon Dr. and its famous vintage boutiques. You can pretty much find anything from one-of-a-kind pieces for the home to amazing fashions, jewels, books and unique gifts.
FLOW Modern Design, has a fantastic selection of housewares, incredible statement jewels which, by the way, were hard to resist and incredible artwork. I chatted with Brigitte, the co-owner and I must say she is quite knowledgeable of every piece available. She is super friendly, energetic and has an impeccable sense of style – so what’s not to love?
For Brigitte and her husband Andre, the mountains, sunshine and incredible pools serve as a muse for their shop and their other ventures, which also include traveling the world, art and interior design. Confession: I walked away with an incredible pair of vintage clip-on earrings from the 1970s, and can’t wait for their debut on the sartorialisms circuit.
Just next door is Bon Vivant, which as its name states is a vibrant shop filled with great accent pieces from the 1950s to the 1980s, lots of colors and a super friendly staff. They have an entire wall filled with great glassware and ceramic accents that will make for an outstanding centerpiece.
When planning your Palm Springs adventure, make sure to save time and stop by these two shops. I am pretty certain it will be tough to come out empty handed, but these two places truly offer what quintessential vintage home style is all about
Don’t miss tomorrow’s Palm Springs’ adventure post, as I’ll share where I celebrated my birthday and a fantastic colorful frock that’s perfect for an evening in the desert.
