How Winter Is Done in Los Angeles — Sartorially Speaking, That Is

Keeping this post short and sweet — because we are already back in the high 70s! See, I took these photos in January when we had three cold days and it was rather imperative to wear outerwear. Since now most of the Northern Hemisphere (yup, taking the dog-and-pony show global for this one) is freezing, we Angelenos get a bit spoiled with our temperatures.

For this sartorialim, I pretty much recycled everything and made it work. It’s all about wearing a classic coat (10 years to be exact) with a fitting pair of jeans, a few statement pieces and some standout baubles. For me, it’s how the whole look is pieced together and this exudes comfort and effortless chic.

Really hoping we get a few more chilly days so that the coat can make another cameo!

I love the chic simplicity of this outfit. Well done on your 10-year jacket!
