How an LA Non-Profit Plans to Uplift Women One Bra at a Time

When my good friend Marian shared an idea for a non-profit last year, my ears perked up. Her mission, as she enthusiastically told me, is to empower underprivileged women and give them the chance to be fit for a bra. Through donations of gently worn undergarments and a lot of word of mouth, her vision became a reality and ‘Share the Lace’ was born.

Nowadays, this non-profit has collected dozens of bras and they have partnered up with Nordstrom in Santa Anita to accept even more donations throughout October. This is a cause incredibly close to my heart since Marian and I worked together at Nordstrom at the Grove and because of it, we’ve developed quite a special bond.

Giving women in need this opportunity will inspire their spirits, give them confidence, and possibly gear them for a better life, so make sure you get to know this incredible organization. Give them a thumbs up on Facebook and learn more of their messages on Instagram.

There is nothing more uplifting than supporting incredible women with a cause, especially one that could truly transform a life. So go ahead, share the lace and the message with all of your special gals out there.
