Hitting a Home Run in Style at SF’s AT&T Park

The days of peanuts and Cracker Jacks (at least in the city by the bay) are over, but just because fall is here doesn’t mean I have to keep my ball park adventure to myself. I mean, some teams are on the playoffs (I am talking to you, Oakland As), so this sartorialism is still acceptable.

This summer, an old college friend who also happens to be a baseball fanatic, came to visit me and on a whim we decided to go check out AT&T Park. Little did we know, the park was open to the public, so we got to check out all of its grandeur.

In all honesty, I never thought I’d ever sit inside a dugout (even if it was for a few minutes), or even walk an actual MLB field. I mean for a non baseball fan, this was an unforgettable experience, so I can only imagine what’s like for those passionately follow RBIs, home runs and fly balls.

I know that most people don’t sport a frock at the park, but given the fact that this tour was very out of left field (insert pun here) and it was 75 degrees out, I had to bring out the short dresses and sandals.

Nice job boys and see you all in the spring!
