Festive Sartorialisms for Flea Market Treasure Hunting

‘Tis the season pretty much start posts with the aforementioned sentence, and to wear lots of festive hues. For me, these pants are everything and they feel like leggins. So far, I’ve rocked them with heels for Thanksgiving and of course on a more casual way.

A few weeks ago, my antiquing parter-in-crime, the lovely Eli from Thrift Eye and I decided to venture to San Francisco’s Outer Mission/Excelsior District for a morning of flea market adventures. As you know, this a new pastime, so I try to visit lots of outdoor markets, garage sales and other novelty antique stores to absorb as much as I can from this incredible trade.

One thing is for sure — comfort is key so I made sure to grab my beloved ‘Chucks,’ a cozy alpaca scarf that is soft and stylish and a good pair of sunglasses. Another must-have? SPF and moisturizer, since spending time in the sun walking around is most of the fun.

We both built an appetite while bargain hunting, so we headed to St. Francis Fountain for some good ol’ grub. While there, I had to snap photos in front of this quaint little house, because the colors were just divine and it worked beautifully with the whole sartorialim!

This indeed was a perfect sunday. As for my finds? I scored a $5 authentic rotary phone and two frames that will be featured on the dog-and-pony show soon.
