The main reason for this Palm Springs adventure was to celebrate my 35th year of existence in style and, I must say, the birthday celebration was a indeed a meal to remember at the Purple Palm Restaurant.
Sarica and I headed to the Colony Palms Hotel for a fun evening of alfresco dining, delicious cocktails and incredible sartorialisms worthy of many photos. Like The Parker, this boutique hotel is full of character and old Hollywood glamour, since its design was masterminded by Los Angeles-based and celebrity favorite Martyn Lawrence-Bullard. His creations are often eclectic, bold and decked with plenty of color combinations and opulence — which when all combined, it’s a fantastic ambiance fit for any memorable vacay.
It is rather apropos that I picked a bold color for this evening, since it was a fete for celebrations and milestones. My Topshop neoprene frock blended perfectly with the decor and aesthetic, so I felt right at home in this ensemble. I added a pop of orange with my Clare Vivier clutch and finished it all with my L.A.M.B. sandals from DSW (also worn last year).
Until next time, Palm Springs! Hope this handy guide is inspiring and helpful for any adventures to come, my beloved readers. Stay tuned for more travel guides this summer, as Ryzenberg On The Road is heading to some fantastic locales in the coming months.
