Suffice it to say the world needs a ray of sunshine right now. Last week’s sudden departure of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain hit me (and many others) hard, despite no personal connection, other than deep admiration for their careers.
Anthony’s raw ability to tell a story resonated with many, as his innate way to connect while visiting the most remote places left us wanderlusting and wanting seconds. Kate’s joie de vivre approach to life was contagious and her collections were playful, fun, and attainable. You’ll both be missed.

In homage to life, I wore one of my favorite Spring pieces last weekend, a colorful slip dress from Reformation that I get nothing but compliments. This will most likely be the golden piece this Summer, due to its versatility and vibrancy. It simply makes me happy.
