When Eilene and I shot last month, the day simply put a big smile in m face — I mean this was no ordinary Saturday. Lately, I’ve had issues with my blog, and whether or not I am surrounded by creative motivators, and I guess it was serendipitous, because this girl was exactly what I needed.
We talked (a lot), we exchanged stories, and she told me in detail about her upcoming trip to Bali. We drank hot chocolate (it was cold in Long Beach) and then we discovered some great boutiques. Check out some of my Long Beach favorite spots here and in a few weeks, I will take you all vintage shopping.
Overall, it was a good day. Also, Eilene is the real deal and a delight to work with, so I guess that’s another reason to smile. Having a creative woman by your side is one of the most uplifting things one can do and what better way than to stay true to your ideals and principles — Thank you, amiga, and I am stoked about our future collaborations.
Sometimes getting out of your comfort zone is key, especially if this happens at an unfamiliar place. I am so glad I did it with Eilene, and can’t wait for my next visit to the LBC.

I’ve never meet a stoop I didn’t like. Eilene took me to her favorite palm-lined street, and let’s just say it was a hit.
